Reaching The Lost
Loving The Abandoned
Vessel of Honour Ministries was birthed in the heart of Evangelist Stephen McKay years before it officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. At just 19 years old, while living deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, Stephen was forever marked by the desperate need he witnessed—the need for the Gospel of Christ and the life-giving transformation it brings. That experience ignited a lifelong passion to reach those the world has overlooked, and to care for the most vulnerable with the love of Jesus.
In 2012, after ministering across the globe, Stephen formally established VOHM and began building a team of people who shared his vision. Today, that team stretches across multiple continents, with active work in Myanmar, Kenya, and The Bahamas—where our orphan care programs are centered and growing.
Our heart remains the same: to bring the Gospel to the unreached and to provide Christ-centered care and nourishment to orphaned and vulnerable children. With this purpose driving us and the Gospel guiding us, we are committed to fulfilling our part in the Great Commission—until every child knows they are loved, and every remote place has heard the name of Jesus.

Our Mission
To bring the Gospel to the unreached, provide Christ-centered care for orphaned and vulnerable children, and utilize aviation to reach the most remote corners of the world.
We believe that through the sacrifice of many, gathered together and unified under one vision, the world will feel the full impact of the Gospel!

Stephen McKay
President / Founder
The Gospel has always been a major part of Stephen's life. From the early years growing up in northern Alberta, Canada, to the moment he first stepped foot on foreign soil at 19 as a missionary, the trajectory of his life seemed to always point towards the unreached places of the earth. Stephen founded VOHM in January 2010, with the purpose of touching the unreached with the gospel and establishing orphanages. He resides in East Tennessee with his wife, Jessica, and their three sons, Bentley, Grant and Ezekiel.

Brad Angeron
Executive Director of Operations
Born and raised in South Louisiana, Brad developed a passion for ministry early in life. Since his middle school years, he has been actively involved in worship and youth ministry within his local church. After supporting Vessel of Honour Ministries for several years, Brad joined the team part time in November 2021. Through a clear season of transition—marked by the Lord closing old doors and opening new ones—he stepped into full-time ministry with VOHM in September 2024. He currently lives in Louisiana with his wife, Adriane, their two daughters, Mayci and Julia.

Ko Aung
National Director - Myanmar
The Gospel and church planting have always been a major part of Ko Aung's life. He became a believer from Buddhist religion and was the first Christian in his family tree. After two years of his conversion, he brought his father, mother, brother, and sisters to Christ. He has now planted 28 churches in animists villages. Ko Aung started the VOHM Orphanage Center in Myanmar in November 2010. His strong purpose is sharing the gospel to all nations and taking care of the many orphans in Myanmar.
