Reaching The Lost
Loving The Abandoned
Vessel of Honour Ministries was birthed in the heart of Evangelist Stephen McKay years prior to receiving our 501(c)3 status as a non profit organization. Living deep within the jungles of Papua New Guinea at 19 years of age, he was eternally impacted by the desperate need of people all around the earth for both the Gospel of Christ, and the ethics that flow from it, producing an atmosphere where love and grace abounds.
In 2012, after globe trotting to countless countries, he established VOHM as a non profit organization, and began building a team of people with the same passion and goals. Our team now stretches across the earth, from South East Asia where our orphanage operations are based, to the heart of Africa, where most of our city wide evangelistic outreaches take place.
Our heart is reaching the unreached with the Gospel and committing ourselves to the care and nourishment of orphaned children. With this as our goal and the Gospel as our guide, we will not rest until we fulfill our portion of the great commission!

Our Vision
Our vision is three fold: One - that unreached people groups of the earth would hear the Gospel; Two - that orphaned and abandoned children would be loved, cared for and presented the Gospel; Three - that through aviation all people everywhere can be accessed with the Gospel.
We believe that through the sacrifice of many, gathered together and unified under one vision, the world will feel the full impact of the Gospel!

Our Mission
To create a presence of the Gospel in remote parts of the world, and to establish orphanages where at risk children are exposed to harm or danger.

Stephen McKay
President / Founder
The Gospel has always been a major part of Stephen's life. From the early years growing up in northern Alberta, Canada, to the moment he first stepped foot on foreign soil at 19 as a missionary, the trajectory of his life seemed to always point towards the unreached places of the earth. Stephen founded VOHM in January 2010, with the purpose of touching the unreached with the gospel and establishing orphanages. He resides in East Tennessee with his wife, Jessica, and their three sons, Bentley, Grant and Ezekiel.

Jessica McKay

Brad Angeron
Executive Director of Operations
Living his entire life in the swamps of South Louisiana and in a Christian home, Brad knew the Lord had plans for his life, but he never imagined the extent of the amazing journey God would take him on. He has been heavily involved in music and youth ministry within the local church since his middle school years. Feeling a larger calling upon his life to do more for the Kingdom.. Brad reached out to Stephen and joined the VOHM team (a ministry he has supported since 2016) in November 2021. Brad continues to reside in Louisiana with his wife, Adriane, two daughters, Mayci & Julia, and fur-daughter, Bella.
